Honoring a lifetime of service to education

Please join me in honoring my father, Roger Victor Sciarretta, for his lifetime of service to education.  Roger passed away peacefully on January 17, just eight days after being diagnosed with cancer.  The school in Yuma Arizona where he was founding principal (Carpe Diem Collegiate High School) is holding a fundraising drive in his name to fight cancer.  Click here for more information on memorial services and to donate.

A service that we the students are grateful of and will never forget. One of the most amazing principals and men I have been blessed to come across with. He was my guidance and I’m sure he will continue on guiding me from above. Thank you Mr. Sciarretta :)

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I read through the articles and it sounds like he was such a wonderful man. His son definirtely takes after him, thanks for being such a great leader for our school. Our condolences to you and your family.
